It is always a joy to look back and be awestruck at how wonderfully God has carried you through the years.
Looking back to this exact moment one year before, I was probably sitting up on my bed wondering why I am in this new city, all by myself. I did not even have a confirmed job letter or a joining date. I was hatching escape plans in case I had to leave the city the very next day.
Little did I know, God was answering my forgotten prayer:
Lord, place me at the right place, at the right time
And He answered it so beautifully 🙂
He placed me in an amazing community of love, concern and fellowship.
When it was too hard to carry on and I just wanted to give up, I am glad that God had placed me here with these amazing people who held me up and supported me with prayers and hugs 🙂
Once again, He has proved that He is forever FAITHFUL and His plans are always the BEST!
My God never gave up on me; never left me halfway. Yes, He is faithful!
In my joy, He laughed with me. In my lonely hours, He held me close. In the darkest nights, He was still there. He never left!!
We have all been there. Waiting for the round figures. The tens, hundreds, five hundreds and such.
But doesn’t the 99, 499 or 997 matter too?
This post thread has been in my mind for a long time and what time is better than when I am awaiting 500 followers?
We all love the milestones and they do matter.
But sometimes as we wait to celebrate the 50th birthday, we forget to live the 49th year.
This is another form of destination happiness: A very dangerous technique of postponing happiness.
Let us not fall prey to that. Instead can we learn to value each day, each moment, each follower; basically everything that comes in between the milestones. Coz if you don’t cross the 77, 84 or 97, you will definitely not reach 100.
Let us also learn to appreciate the back ground workers, the skeletal teams and people who maintain our world. They might not be the ones who gets credit for the end result. But they were all part of the process.
DO NOT overlook the corner stones as you rush from one milestone to the next.
A sequel to Destination happiness
Hello everyone…I just wanted to quickly post in some updates going on.
After a long period of deep slumber, I am back again, hopefully with new content and wider horizons.
As a part of getting back on my feet, I am whipping up some social media publicizing too.
Since most of my followers check follow via WordPress reader, you guess might not have noticed the extra something (or ‘somethings’), I have added to the sidebar.
On the sidebar/footer you will now find:
Feel free to like, share and follow me on any of those platforms. Let us share and grow 😉
I know I post a lot of me-and-God conversations here. And I know that most of them also makes me look like a crazy woman. 😀
Yet, I love posting those because I want to share how the soft voice of God clears my doubts, answers my questions and encourages me to look at things from a different angle.
So, recently I found myself in the midst of a situation I never thought I would be in. Continue reading “Another conversation”
Throughout the years, I have heard a thousand preachers talking about how the world is heading towards destruction. I heard them speak about how the vulgarity and immorality in this world is spiking up at an alarming rate. I have listened to many a call to rise up and pray for the nations and the people. I have been called to action to reach out and spread the good news.
But, never did it strike me so badly that the world indeed needs a Saviour as this last weekend.
And what changed me? Continue reading “Am I old??”
